British Car Week - Celebration Drive to Hatch, NM

May 28th

    Celebration Drive to

Hatch, NM

With a sendoff by Ron in his Jaguar XKE, our group of six cars and eleven people left Mayfield High School
a bit after 7AM for a most pleasant drive in the cool of the morning to Hatch for very nice breakfasts at the Pepper Pot.
Enjoyed ourselves and had good service prior to the anticipated motorcycle groups arrived. After our fill of eggs, Hatch chili, potatoes, toast, tortillas, chicken fried steak, pancakes, French toast, and more than a few pots of coffee, it was time to address loose exhausts and crankcase breathing issues and radiator airflows while the women checked out some shops.  Ahh, British cars and standard nuts and bolts - the hardware store was close by.
Some decided on the interstate to get back, so our group split up in Hatch.

Walt & Cheryl - MGB        Mike & Liz - Morgan Plus 4      Tom - MGA

Bob & Gretchen - Triumph Spitfire
